Call Me Baby, sees a red-headed lover sprawled on a baby pink carpet amid a night of playful flirtation. Inspired by glossy 1970's gloss, Guy Bordin and the Pantone colours of the year - Rose Quartz and Serenity. The imagery will grace a collection of accessories including a large silk scarf, Prada style tote, clutch wallets, purses and more. I was really excited to continue the success of my recent PrintSpace workshop in August, to running further sessions at my favourite art shop CASS ART in Islington London this September.  Continuing with the promotion of experimentation through mixed media, this time the theme taking shape of fashion illustration. The two hour session began with looking at a set of processes and decisions when creating a multi layered illustration. How and what I used for my recent Live Painting at The Printspace Gallery. For those who couldn't make it to the very busy and energetic launch of Drawn at The Printspace Gallery, a couple of weeks ago,  which included live painting by myself and Reeps One, you'll be pleased to know that the guys at The Printspace have cut an awesome video capturing all the best bits! Last Thursday evening, I ran my first ever Miss Led workshop, which was hosted by the Printspace, as part of Drawn, a two week long illustration event, including live art, exhibition, talks and a workshop. Many thanks to Liquitex who provided all the materials for the Mixed Media session. 10 lucky competition winners worked together for 2 hours on portraits prepared before hand. Using watercolour resist, Liquitex acrylic inks, Conte a Paris watercolour coloured pencils, stencils, sponges along with Letraset brush pens, everyone came away learning something new as well as a goodie bag including beautifully printed Miss Led mini prints. ...

A little sneak of my new piece for my Miss Led Letters project. I really wanted to take the idea of lettering and hair to a more complex style rather than just as a silohette as previously seen early in the year. Hope to finish this off after a few new commissions are underway. ...
