How and what I used for my recent Live Painting at The Printspace Gallery. For those who couldn't make it to the very busy and energetic launch of Drawn at The Printspace Gallery, a couple of weeks ago,  which included live painting by myself and Reeps One, you'll be pleased to know that the guys at The Printspace have cut an awesome video capturing all the best bits! Last Thursday evening, I ran my first ever Miss Led workshop, which was hosted by the Printspace, as part of Drawn, a two week long illustration event, including live art, exhibition, talks and a workshop. Many thanks to Liquitex who provided all the materials for the Mixed Media session. 10 lucky competition winners worked together for 2 hours on portraits prepared before hand. Using watercolour resist, Liquitex acrylic inks, Conte a Paris watercolour coloured pencils, stencils, sponges along with Letraset brush pens, everyone came away learning something new as well as a goodie bag including beautifully printed Miss Led mini prints. ...

Last Thursday night, 71a Gallery, Shoreditch hosted the launch night of Not For Rental Project . The exhibition, produced by Little White Lies and directed by Timba Smits held over 2oo original artworks by some incredible talent, focusing on film but keeping the film title and artist identity to the back cover of the vintage VHS cases.  After much deliberation I finally decided on my film choice and character. Only using graphite and charcoal on watercolour paper I wanted the drawing to illustrate the opulent and sensual tones of the film using lots of detail and extra elements. I hope you like!   ...

Liquitex Artist Materials and Subism Collective invited 10 UK street and graffiti artists, illustrators and designers for an evening of live art at The Book Club London, the artwork from the night was then taken to the prestigious white walled rooms of the Saatchi Gallery. Obviously there was no doubt of my being involved. Here's the final piece.
